Chief Operating Officer

Alberto Caruso is a technology investor and company builder with over 15 years of experience across finance, governance, and venture development.

He co-founded and chairs a UAE-based technology group operating across MENA, taking direct responsibility for its governance design, capital structure, and institutional development from inception through its current stage of growth.

At NEFES, Alberto focuses on operational discipline, governance frameworks, and capital allocation, applying an institutional approach to early-stage investments and supporting long-term, sustainable value creation.

Nikolai Legkodimov

Nikolai Legkodimov is an investment and technology professional with a lifelong career in technology across the US, Europe, and Asia.

He has held senior roles on both the advisory and industry sides, including leading a multi-regional technology consulting practice at a Big Four firm and serving in senior technology positions within the energy sector.

With a Master’s degree in Physics, multiple professional certifications, and technology patents, Nikolai brings deep technical rigor to NEFES, where he leads investment analysis and execution, supporting evidence-led decision-making and the translation of complex innovation into scalable business models.
